 ATTCAP Charge Attenuator
Designed to attenuate the charge output of accelerometers when used at high g levels increasing the usability of high sensitivity devices. Available in a range of attenuation values to suit all types of applications. The case has BNC connectors at either end allowing the unit to interface directly with standard BNC cables as well as optional cables available from CMR Ltd. Although designed to increase the usable shock range care should be taken not to use the accelerometer above its usable shown range, as damage to the accelerometer may occur. The ATTCAP is particularly useful when using fixed gain or single sensitivity charge amps. The ATTCAP has been designed so that the units can be cascaded producing a wide variety possible attenuations. |
