 CT/PT CalibrationCMR Ltd now offer the calibration of both Current (CT) and Potential (PT) Transformers up to 30,000Amps and 10,000kV. By using a CT/PT analyser, accuracy is greatly increased and errors reduced by removing the source of potential errors found when calibrating by current or voltage injection into the primary. Another advantage of calibrating by this method is that you not only get your turns ratio but also a health check on your transformer, with error graphs, phase and resistance errors and "knee point" graphs.
